Hey....i wanted to grab some death staff/wand and I was wondering...

Is Bortak's THE best...or where can I find collector for 20/20 death if there is such???

Good place to go for all the collectors, look in the crystal desert section or so. shiverpeaks, thats where the good collector are.

you can craft a 20/20 WAND yes thats right a WAND at the 15k armor places in GW: Factions

So, ANet lied again. To be competative, you have to get Factions. Are the skins different in the Luxon and Kurzick places? I want to get my necro some death and curses stuff.

these are weapons crafter items... the 20/20 wand and 20/20 offhand are an awesome combo and I will be buying one of the wands but these work alright also..

Bortak's Cesta is the best off-hand for death necros, I can tell you that. The other Bortak items arent much of a big deal. I currently use a 5^50, 20 recharge Wailing Wand and Bortak's Cesta. Gives me a bit more nrg then a perfect Insightful Staff of Death Magic but I just really like the looks on the Wayward Wand and the Cesta.

I actually took that collectors staff outside elona....it halves bost recharge and casting time...and i modded +30hp and +5 energy....it'll do the job...

But I'm really digging that items undead...where did you get them?

There is a collector just outside of Viznuh Square (SP?) Local Quarter that will give you that wand for 5 plague idols.

i use that weap combo shown above, but by far imo the best combo possible for a death necro (specially MM) is Bortaks Bone Cesta and the Wayward Wand from the end of factions (the wand has a halves recharge +20%, and an energy plus and also, if ur just casting for any attribute the wayward crap is by far my favorite, you get a 40% chance to half ur recharge times)

I personally use for my MM Necro the Bloodstained Boots amd for the weapons I use Bortaks Bone Claw and Bortaks Bone Cesta. I think these guys are the best combination because they look cool together and they both halves casting times allowing for 65% of instantly casting explioting moves because of the boots and the two weapons. Also Bortaks Bone Cesta offers +1 Death Magic 20% so sometimes you can get a higher lvl minion on the field. And you have 15 energy with -3 when below 50% health. These guys are my babies when Im MMing.

Well in factions there is the spiral bone wand and offhand that I already posted but there is also the same wand with recharge instead of fast cast and of coarse there are 20/20 wands also in factions

I believe the 20/20 STAFF crafter is in House Zu Helter for Kurzicks
The 20/20 WAND crafter is is Vasburg Armory for Kurzicks.

I am unsure of the Luxon equivalent (if there is one).
Both items are 5K + materials (47 bone + 6 plant fiber for wands??)

That is incorrect. He will give you a 5v50 wand. The 5^50 with recharge is only available end game to the best of my knowledge.

I found the weapon crafter for the rod Undead Preacher posted. I am hereby a sworn patron of that guy.

I am getting the Curse wand (God, I love Wailing Wand skin!), not sure about the Blood one (don't care much for the skin), and I already bought Healing Rod, Proto Rod, getting Illusion cane, too. That guy rocks! There is another guy with 5~enchanted 20 recharge weapons. 1st guy is in Bukdek Byway, 2nd one is in Wajjun Bazaar.

But back to topic: anything equivalent to 20/20 speed/recharge, 15+ nrg (with no degen), and +1 Death Magic is probably the best. If I could get a 20/20 perfect shadow staff with +1DM, I'd gladly trade my Bortak Cesta and Wayward Wand (well... no, I like them too much so I will keep them for the archives).

not bad, guess people will start farming The Bone Dancer now, wish it would have dropped for me when I capped off of him..... it's great for a staff, to bad staff's can't equal a weapon and offhand.

I think its right outside elona on the north eastern side. If u cant find it there just go throught the desert towns and the collector is right outside a town. Or u could google it
